We are very excited to introduce the PERIO FLOW machine to kill existing biofilm under the gums.  Biofilm is a colony of bacteria that attached to the tooth and causes periodontal disease and eventually bone loss.  Previously the only way to remove this biofilm was to use the ultrasonic scaler for several minutes per tooth, which was not the most comfortable procedure, or to use the laser.

The Perio Flow utilizes a combination of a glycerin powder, water and air to reach up to 10 mm under the gums to kill the existing biofilm (bacteria).  Patients love this procedure and don’t complain of any discomfort and love the results.  This is the most comfortable perio treatment available with great pain free, fast results.  This machine has been available since last summer and we have the only one!!!!  Come and see our great new machine which we all love!!!

These before and after photos were taken 4 days apart. The patient had moderate inflammation, that only would have healed previously with laser, antibiotics and root planing and scaling. We were all very excited to see such great results, in such a short amount of time.
