Featured SMILE of the Week…
This patient had a sports accident and lost his two front teeth about 10 years ago. The patient had a non-removable bridge placed on the upper 6 teeth to fill the space. He did not like how the bridge looked bulky, and all one piece. He also had a problem pronouncing certain letters and sounds because adequate air was not passing through the teeth correctly. The patient desired a more natural and whiter smile. Dr. Frazar reviewed pictures with the patient and discussed all his options for achieving his goals with a new smile. Dr. Frazar suggested the patient add a porcelain restoration on each side of the upper 6 to make a smoother transition between the bridge and his other natural teeth. The patient was seen in 2 visits and now has a more natural smile that does not look “fake”.
